Marcos Ambrose made his first Bud Shootout a good one as he finished third to lead all Ford drivers at Daytona International Speedway. Greg Biffle was sixth and Carl Edwards ninth. Matt Kenseth (21st) and David Ragan (24th) rounded out the Ford contingent.
