EcoBoost 2.3L Turbo I-4: Standard on the EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium trims, the 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder produces 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. The EcoBoost is paired exclusively with a 10-speed automatic transmission and offers EPA-estimated 22 city / 33 highway mpg for efficient daily driving on the 60 freeway with sporty acceleration.
GT 5.0L Ti-VCT Coyote V8: Standard on the GT and GT Premium trims, the naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 produces 480 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. With the available active valve performance exhaust, output increases to 486 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. The GT is offered with a standard 6-speed manual transmission or an available 10-speed automatic.
Dark Horse 5.0L Coyote V8 (Modified): Standard on the Dark Horse and Dark Horse Premium trims, this modified Coyote V8 produces 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. For 2026, the Dark Horse comes standard with the 10-speed automatic, with a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission available. MagneRide adaptive suspension is standard on the Dark Horse.
For drivers seeking the most extreme performance, the Mustang Dark Horse SC features a 5.2L supercharged cross-plane crank V8 (shared with the Mustang GTD) producing 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque.

GT Performance Package: Available on the GT, this package adds Brembo front brakes, a TORSEN limited-slip differential, wider summer performance tires, chassis upgrades, and available MagneRide adaptive suspension tuning.
